So I'm here to tell you about my latest drawing Ukki - Yuko - Dashel [link]
They're my Shinoter's contest people ^^

In a time, ahead of ours, people are far more advanced as we are. But on one day, underneath the earth a few humans found something. This wasn’t something they ever saw before, although it looked like a gate with the style of the old Greeks used to have. Not really cared about this new discovery they fully exposing the pillars. But when they looked closer to the head of the pillars they saw glyphs they had never seen before. They looked in books, looked at pictures of the old Greek and Roman empires, searching for any recognizable glyph on those pillars. But they found none. Since they didn’t find anything about the glyphs they thought they might have stumbled on a new civilization. They were only a few hours away of fully exposing the gate, it started to rain. It rained like it had never rained before in the whole world. Being so curious at their new discovery they didn’t stop excavating. Then something happened what nobody could know …
As they excavated the top of the gate, they didn’t know what they were seeing. In the top of the gate a big demonic creature was cut out. When the boss saw this he ordered to stop the excavation right away, but it was already too late.
The earth started to tremble. The sky turned red. Everybody was looking at the sky when all of a sudden a great pillar of fire came down upon the gate. All around the Earth the earth started to quake and on in each landslide the earth started to crack and fire started to sprout out. But the fire wasn’t the only thing that came out of the cracks. With the fire dark entities came out and spread widely around the globe. From now on, nothing would be the same anymore.
From the cracks on the terrain started to decay. Everything around, like plants and animals, died. People fled to where it was safe. But unfortunately the dark entities start to attack the human race and thousands of humans died. But not long after the human race started to defend. With there advanced technology it wasn’t hard to beat the creatures but never could they find a way to stop the spawning and so the world stayed in conflict.
Yuko and Dash’s parents were friends. They always were on the same team when they had to watch the town for incoming attacks. Out of that, when the children were born, one of the four parents watched them. Yuko and Dash became close friends with each other and soon they fell in love. When learning how to fight they were always practicing together. When they had to defend the town, they defended it together on the same team. The one always watched the back of the other. They were inseparable. However after secondary school Yuko became a master at wielding armor and shields while Dash was being thought how to kill a monster unseen. But never had they loved each other less.
One night, when there were on a survey through the neighborhood around the village they heard an explosion. When they looked back they saw a great pillar of fire not far away from they were. When they ran to the place where the village was, they saw it was. All what was left were some ashes and lifeless ground. Both speechless as they saw this they changed. From that moment on they swore they would eradicate all evil and make it go back from where it came.
Ukki lived with her parents in a small cottage in the wilderness. Protected by an everlasting magical shield they never feared the evil creatures but they did fear other humans.
Once when it was known that some people had given magical might with the opening of the portal they were all banished. Demons they were, the others said. But once the attacks came they saw it was wrong to banish them. Not willing to back to the cities one after another fell and all that was left were small villages. A great hate against the magicians grew from then on.
Meanwhile the magicians gathered in a small village. Until one of them betrayed them, as he wanted to be the most powerful magician on earth, eradicating all others seemed to be the only way to become that. At night he lowered the magical shield protected their village and since the guards dead nobody noticed. The mages, caught by surprise, were unable to defend the village. After the word got spread of the massacre at the mages village magical gifted people keep their secret with them, knowing that they or would be killed by the inhabitants of their village or by the Betrayer.
Being a child and not knowing how to use magic, it is hard to control it. On one day at kinder garden Ukki, unwanted, used magic. A big riot broke at their village and Ukki and her parents fled from it to the tranquillity of the wilderness. Both Ukki’s parents were magical gifted and pulling a barrier up around their house was no hard task. For many years they lived relatively peacefully. But on Ukki’s eighteenth birthday her mother started to get sick. None of their magic could cure her, and after several months of suffering she died a painful dead.
By the agony and pain of the death of his wife Ukki’s father gone crazy. Ukki could never get to far away or he would go mad at her. Once she gone out to get some water her dad was madly furious. He decided to put some foul spells on her to retain her to his mind. But later on it got worse. One night he started to abuse her. As he did that, his spell broke and Ukki blasted him with such powerful spell he was out of consciousness. As she noticed this she took her cloths and the money had they kept as memory of the past and fled. She didn’t was far yet as she heard her father shout at her and shouting that he would come to get her back to him.
Not knowing where she was or where the closest village was, she ran and ran and ran. Always straight ahead she ran. After several exhausting days of running unknowingly she was broken and fell, losing her consciousness.
What she didn’t know was that she almost reached the village of Darquai. Not much later she was found by one of the sentries of the village and was put in the local hospital for recovery.
